Cocoa is a tree from America that produces a fruit of the same name that can be used as an ingredient in foods, the most well-known being chocolate. Its use dates back to the times of the Mayans, Aztecs , Pre Incas, and since then it has been used for both nutritional and medicinal purposes.
Our cocoa is owned by the farmland also known as "Puerto Luz" in addition to other Peruvians farms, where farmers are committed to the responsible management of the territory and harmful impact mitigation. They have not yet been recognized as organic by official certification bodies, but they follow the organic cultivation criteria with the aim of having their crops eventually certified as organic..
The cacao is a mix of the criollo and trinitario varieties. A high quality fermentation is used with this particular blend of cacao which gives it a distinctive taste and aroma.
The cacao is minimally processed and roasted slowly using a low temperature to preserve its healthy compounds and nutritional value. It is then finely ground so it can easily dissolve in your drink.
Our pure cacao is available in packs of 200 grams.
For ceremonies this amount can be used for up to 4 or 5 people.
For creativity, work and health you can get between 12 and 13 cups of delicious, aromatic and tasty cacao.

The cacao we export is high-quality cacao. It is processed with care in every step, from the soil it is grown in right through to the finished pack.
Our cacao grows in the Amazon of Peru, a beautiful natural environment in the mountains. There are many cloud forests in this area with a high diversity of birds and other animals. No chemicals or pesticides are used and we pay a higher price to our farmers to support their sustainable way of working.
